Vanilla Rice RX7 Fastest Rotary Engine Blow Up Ever… What Happened ?
thank you for the video, it is great. i have a question i am afraid to ask. how the heck does the multiplier work? I want to add say 12% to the fuel. i can not get it for the life of me
Select the cells you want to multiply. Press M (for multiple). % is based on 1. 1.00 = 0%. 1.12 = +12%. 0.88 = -12%.
Thank you very much , vidio teach me do the cyling head ❤ At home Thank you BOONY'S
My old man copped a full size disc to the face from below the left eye to his jaw. Messed him up. PPE is more important than the expiry date.
The mighty barra was mentioned thats what i came here for
I know... Still use it 😂
Great tip. As someone who literally just bought his first angle grinder I thank you 🙏🏻
Meh nerd shit.
Man you are gr8
Pft ya thats calling marketing so they sell the government and suckers more then they need haha
It’s a government enforced safety standard. And probably one that most people couldn’t give a stuff about 😂
I actually discarded some discs a few days ago because of the date.
we used to use them till they ran out, so like, forever
It doesn't matter
Maybe if you did some work, instead of your phone you wouldn't have an expiry date problem.
Can happen to a DIYer or a big volume fabricator. If you work in a workshop or fabrication shop it would be easy thing to miss or not know about, and just always buying tins of discs and just keep on stacking new tins on top of the old ones in the supply cupboard every time you buy one. Discs made overseas take 3-4 months to be made and shipped, then might sit for 3-6 months in a warehouse, then could be sitting for months on a shelf in a shop as well (where again new tins could be placed on top of old tins). So by time you buy them they could already be 18 months old and only have 18 months life left.
@@BroomysGarage that was the least of my problems when I was a boilermaker, it's how we used/ they use them still today. They explode all the time.
If people use a guard then the risk is lower!
Wouldn’t there be some kind of notification on the disc
Notification ?
Bro think it's a phone 😂
@@BroomysGarage sorry for the mentally challenged that would be a label to tell it has a use by date
I’ve never heard of these so called expirey dates on grinding wheels…. Interesting….
I'm trying to learn, but what I see in the welding example is a stud going through the nut.... That's not what your supposed to be showing me. Where's the example where the bolt is broken off
The biggest problem is the hole on top of the engine. Had a socket roll down that like a Billiard ball while changing the battery, fishing it out was great fun.
Awesome video. Thanks!
Seen a similar garage concept like this open up in Castle Hill in Sydney a few years ago but believe it faded into non-existence. Hope this goes the distance!
Love the wire twisting with the drill. Got any tips on how to do that for a Y junction? Like running the loom down the chassis and then split off to left/right tail light?
I saw the video sometime back when. Then this week it happened, the $300 pool pump I was working on sheared clean off flat to the surface. I hacked on it with the usual combination of anti-sieze, and trying to turn it with a chisel, no luck. I drilled the middle, slipping once and drilling the pump instead. After making the center hole, I used an extractor. The tip of it is still in the bolt, since it, too, sheared off nicely. I remembered I'd seen a video on this, so looked it up. The first try was to weld a nut with a circular flat. It too, sheared, but I figured that weld was not too good. The biggest problem was getting electrical contact with the motor, which took lots of wire brushing before it worked. For the second try, I used the washer method. I like that a lot better, since it allows you to get a good weld to the bolt first. Then I welded the nut on. Lots of slowly applied torque and off it came. Thanks!
What if you don’t know how to use a hoist or some of the tools ? 🧰
You will not be loading any car onto the hoist yourself for safety reasons obviously. Assistance is available on tools etc. More info here: ua-cam.com/video/4R7piTfxqyE/v-deo.html
Great clip! So well said. :)
Well done guys, the liability insurance must be astronomical, accidents happen but hopefully no numbscull spoils it for the rest of the enthisiasts.
Can't wait to book a hoist for an hour then have the job go horribly wrong with parts not fitting, nothing going right ect, so I say stuff it and leave the car there for 6 months :)
More likely mass immigration and the people who are destroying our countries will change the car community forever.
full stocked BUT .....is the 10mm still in there
Wao, Im about to move from USA to that place,Australia?? is outstanding.
i didnt see a welder so i can do my diff on the hoist haha
the fullboost boys bag out rx8s, then feature girly cars like toyota yarris, and do features on bogan commodores and falcons. lost a lot of respect for them.
Can someone give more detail on what assistance is offered? Like is there a trained mechanic on hand to help/guide you? Or will someone just step in if your about to drop a trans on your head?
Message them ? www.fullboostgarage.com.au/
Well, it's hardly going to change the car community forever.. It's a useful idea. But been done for years.
McDonald’s car park will be quiet tonight😂
Its the new U DO IT garage. Its certainly not a new concept.
There used to be a shop cant remember the name it used to be in Alexandria in NSW Sydney, where you could do everything to your car, this was back in the mid 80s, you could hire the tools get tags swap them back and forth, spraybooth, mig welders nice to see it coming back 😊 awesome video 🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺🦘🦘❄️🌨🏔
There was one in Waitara NSW near the station called Self Help Workshop , early 70' s
A set of corner scales would be good
Twin 2 step rotary check, they hit a bit different don't they. It certainly is a great venue and can't wait to bring my Suby for its next head gasket 😂😂❤❤
This is fantastic! However, I cant help feeling this relies too much on goodwill and trusting other humans. Let's hope I'm wrong. But It's a brilliant idea for a perfect world.
Lol rx8s
Thanks for sharing Broomy.
This was done in the 90s it was called U DO IT ... weld, paint, fully equipped shop ..
Was this the 1 in Alexandria NSW Sydney??
Yes there was one there as well and North Sydney as well ..
@@302esky yeah cool, I worked a lot in the Alexandria one, back in 84 to 88, then move to Inverell NSW opened my own shop, was young back then 🤣☺️👍
How do they stop people stealing tools or taking up hoists for their own personal use stopping others using them. I don’t understand it. I understand the concept
@rc70ys this isn’t an unoccupied building that people can come and go as they please on some honour system. This is a manned business, so someone is there at all times.
No cameo's from the crew ? Great to see you in the feed Broomy 👍

@@BroomysGarage- It must freak people out who do not know about the rotary"s to see them so compact LOL 👍
Gave it a like on FB, could not comment there.
I remember there were a couple of places similar to this in Melbourne many years ago, about time someone brought them back. Great job boys 👍
Its was called U DO IT in Sydney in the 90s ..
!!!!!!!!!nice!!!!!!!!
I don't understand why there aren't more of these around already. Such an obvious idea.
Insurance and lack of ability of most people to actually repair Thier cars.
@@Low760so I wonder how these guys are doing it differently
Yeah could struggle with a lot of things, such as not having the right parts, accidents, not cleaning tools etc, will be interesting to see how responsible people are with this.
How does it go for insurance if there’s any incidents?
I was thinking the same.
We obviously have insurance guys. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
@@fullboost even if we're working on rx8's?
you wernt there they found you down the road in the kerb
This is the go boys, good on you guys!
Great idea just a shame it's on the other side for a Keysy guy 👍
I think if you have a hefty job to do, like change a clutch or a rear main seal, and lack proper tools and especially a hoist to do it, then the convenience and time (as well as physical strain) saved makes this a lock as a go-to option regardless of where you are in Victoria. With my gearbox jack and hoist, I can have my TH400 out of the rx7 in under 30 minutes. Without those, seriously catch me after 3 hours still working on jack stands rolling around in the bone cold concrete, arms and back ripped to shreds, struggling with just the converter bolts. Time is money. Place like this is worth its weight in gold for jobs like that. 2 hour return trip from outer or south east to do a job in an hour for total of 3 hours that would probably take 6+ at home and snatch the will to live out of you, sign me up 😂
@@BroomysGarage True dat
@@BroomysGarage I don't like to use other people's tools myself, but I'm experienced at doing this stuff so working on my back is not that bad. But it will be interesting to see. I couldn't afford $50ph to hire a hoist years ago, plus if something goes wrong you have to leave your dead car there. But maybe it's not aimed at the young apprentice who needs to work on their car?
@@BroomysGarage And a nice day out, if all goes to plan.
